Our beloved Milo joined our family as a tiny kitten at 7 weeks old. He could fit in your opened hand or a sweatshirt pocket. As he grew, he became so humongous you had to carry him with both arms. At 21 pounds he was a heavyweight mouser and was very good at monitoring the backyard. Milo was well versed in disrupting squirrels and birds. Milo would also be mistaken for a raccoon in the backyard and loved spending all day out there in the summertime and fall.
During his life with us, he was known by many nicknames; Nugs, Nigel, Big Chungus, Bungus, Mouser, Big Fluff and Mr. Super Purrs. Milo would often loudly meow and demand more food be put into his bowl. If you didn’t move fast enough or get up early enough, he would continue meowing and would paw at your eyelids while you slept so he could be fed. Milo was a tuna juice assailant and gravy lover. Milo also loved drinking out of the tub faucet and sink faucets.
You would often find Milo laying in random spots around the house for his cat naps and was a super fan of getting his ears cleaned. Milo also had no shame meowing and pawing for his daily dinnertime head and belly scratches. Milo’s affectionate meows and super purrs will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.
